ARNAUD & GIULIANO
Unconventional, rebellious, hard working … and a bit dreamy? Those are all words used by our close circle when trying to categorize us.
What brought us to where we are today, are our core values - we are proud of what we do and we never back down. Knowing each other since 1997 and born from the same set of sisters (that’s a weird way to tell you we are cousins),
we always dreamed about living for our passions, in life as well as in our work.
DEEPLY ROOTED IN THE ANTWERP OF THE 80'S
The idea to start our own brand didn’t come out of the blue, and neither did our inspiration.
Back in the 80’s, Arnaud’s late father, Jan Verheyden († 2008), was an appointed‘master goldsmith’, notorious in the city for providing the best possible quality money could buy and being the only known jeweler able to craft jewelry out of platinum.

His mother, Florence De Bruyn, was a rising star in the sector, after having obtained her goldsmith degree from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts with distinction. Both of them started their own jewelry store in Antwerp.
Today, GIRATI has a close link still with Antwerp, and with our work, we are keeping their memory as well as the city's history and creativity alive.
WITH AN ITALIAN TOUCH
Rebellion comes in many forms: music, politics or art.
What drives us is to create timeless pieces incorporating elements of revolt and refine them with the type of elegance found in Italian fashion. While you’ll see our pieces combine historical elements with the spirit of Rock ‘n Roll, the main point of our creations is for them to have the ability to stand out.
OUR CREATIVE PROCESS
Our design and brand-building process was and always will be important to us.
While Arnaud is busy with the backoffice of the business, Giuliano focuses on the creative aspects such as designing the newest collections, creating the custom designs for our clients and building our marketing imagery. Having studied Digital Arts, he now uses those 2D and 3D techniques for the creation of our jewellery.
After the initial design drafting/prototyping we try to get as much contact with our core customer base as possible to have them give their feedback and adjust our designs according to their needs and wishes.
This synergy between us as cousins and our loyal clients is what makes us effective, striving only for the best quality and service.

THE CRAFTING TABLE
Ourcore values, inspiration and overall creative process are the foundation of GIRATI. Hence, we are exclusively operating with ethical partners for all our needed materials and more. We feel our values are to be taken into account through every step of the crafting process.
For our main collection lines, we work together with Balinese master silversmiths working in family businesses. Our custom made rings are fully crafted with the support of Belgian and other European parties.
Ultimately, we take pride in our work and go through each day, knowing we are crafting beautiful pieces for our clients, all carefully packaged, so they can display their divergent character.
